Stace & Marlene Moss

LPEC owners, Marlene and Stace are availble for various training activities, including trail training, ground manners, longing, ground driving, trailer loading, exercise, conditioning. We have a background in creating Competitive Trail and Endurance and safe family horses. We have trained mustangs and are available for working with nervous horses.

We have great trails to train on and can expose your horse to hills, gullies, cows, water, logs and other horses.

Trail Training, ground work, manners, trailer loading, trail obstacles
$350-$600/month including full care board

Conditioning for distance competition
$325-450/month including board depending upon frequency and length of rides

A few of the horses we`ve started and/or trained on the trail
Kit Kourageous, a 3/4 arab mare. We did a little Competitve Trail, Limited Distance, 50 Milers, multi-days and my first 100
Belle was a 14yo mare when we started her trail training who was terrified of having horses behind her. She went on to do both Competitive Trail and Limited Distance competitions.
Bonnie was a 5yo halter trained BLM mustang when we started her. She also did both Competitive Trail and Limited Distance.
Dancer was a 14hh rescue gelding that bucked me off the first time I got on him, but he went on to be a fantastic trail horse and great with kids.
We got Venesza as a 7yo, very forward, rather insane mare. After 10 years, she is still very vorward, but is now a fantastic ride and still winning and getting Best Condition easily!
Shadow came to us as a very nervous mustang who panicked at mounting. We fixed the mounting issue and started her on the trail where she really shined.
Star started as a horse that spooked so badly that she dumped Stace 4 times in one ride and ended as a very solid distance horse with 100 mile potential.
Maria hadn`t been ridden in nearly a year and was scared of other horses or anything that moved. Now she is very brave, extremely rateable and has a respectable start on a distance careeer.
Montego was an amazing horse to train. Marlene took him on his first trail ride after only 3 rides in the arena. He turned out to be a very solid trail horse!
