Sky is a gorgeous bay solid Paint mare with a wide blaze and two blue eyes! She is 6 years old and and has been shown several times including jumping classes. She is very sweet and will make a wonderful show, 4H or trail horse. She gets along with kids (and even had a young boy ride her bareback before she had any serious training).  She has been used for intermediate lessons and even a few beginner lessons in a controlled environment

Sky gets along with other horses, is an easy keeper and will do well with a rider with at least a little experience. But she is very calm, doesn`t spook and her training was very easy. Even her very first trail ride was calm and she dealt with strange dogs, a tractor, a steep rocky hill and flapping urban stuff!

Sky has been going out on the trail and she is great at climbing hills. We`ve taught her to use her rear end correctly on steep up and downs. She has also packed a bale bag with 130# of noisy rocks up and down really steep hills - here`s a video -

We have Sky priced to sell fairly quickly because we have acquired a few too many horses and really need to sell a few soon. But she`s been a lot of fun to ride and I think anyone who wants a local show horse, a calm trail horse for fun, safe family horse will enjoy her too. She ties, loads and trailers well and has crossed water although we have done a couple trail rides up Grape Creek and Newlin Creek to push that a little further!  We have also had trainer Heath Marshall spend some time on her - pushing her buttons and making sure that she is kid safe.

Sky was taken to a few shows around Colorado Springs and did flat and jumping classes.  She loves to jump and has jumped up to 3 feet with very little formal training.  She'd make a great jumping/show pony!
