Scout is a 15yo half arab, half paint gelding (registered half arab).  He is wonderfully athletic and well built.  Scout is capable of showing on the flat, arena and cross country jumping as well as being an enjoyable endurance or competitive trail prospect.  We have taken him on the trail a fair amount and also put him in a 25 mile endurance ride.

Scout has been leased by a 10yo girl and jumped up to 3 feet.  He can probably do 3'6" reasonably well.  He does need at least an intermediate rider as he is not pushbutton, but he is smart and willing and a very fun horse to ride.

Scout loves people and getting plenty of attention.  He likes to play with other horses and has been a good buffer in the barn between cranky horses!  He has tons of energy - acts more like a 6-7 year old than a 15 year old.  He has a good sense of rating himself for jumps even if the rider messes up.

Scout is priced at $3500 with lease options, or a board only lease at our barn also possible.  This is a great opportunity for a horse with all-around potential.  Here is a short video of Scout being ridden in the arena, including hopping over a couple small jumps.
