Linda Hardeman will be the ride manager for 3 endurance rides in the Mountain Region this year. She has vast experience both competing and managing rides. We are very lucky that Linda has moved to Southern Colorado as she is also hosting several endurance clinics for those who want to learn a little more about what endurance is, as well as those who have already done a few rides and are looking to move up in distance or competitiveness or learn to take excellent care of their horses.
The first clinic this spring will be held at Los Pinos Equestrian Center for the "classroom portion" of the clinic. There will be an indoor session as well as some work in the arena on the first day. The second day is planned to be held at Brush Hollow Reservoir in Penrose for a practical introduction to following trails, vet checks and pacing. This page will be updated with a schedule and other details shortly.
Please email Linda at spiritllc@yahoo.com or Marlene at Marlene@LosPinos-CO.com for more details. We can also send you brochures with more details and the schedule of other clinics and the endurance rides. You also check out the Distance Riding Schedule on this site to see rides that Marlene and Stace of Los Pinos (and some of our boarders) are planning on attending in case you would like to find a friendly face at any of the rides. Although endurance riders are notorious for all being very friendly and helpful to newbies!
