Diva is a very sweet mare that will just capture your heart.  She is only offered for sale reluctantly at such a great price because we have a couple rescue and abandoned horses that need a lot more attention.

Diva is 14.3H bay mare with an excellent back, strong in the loins and great feet, she goes well over rocky terrain barefoot.  She was new to the trail when I got her, but she quickly learned to use her rear end correctly for steep hills and she is not a spooky horse.  She is really enjoyable on all kinds of trail rides.  She is 3/4 arab and 1/4 saddlebred and her price includes her registration papers which will be available in July.

Diva has done her first 25 mile endurance ride near Westcliffe Colorado.  She is still learning to be a lead horse in new areas, but is coming along nicely.  Her riding buddy ended up lame and she travelled alone for a while and then joined up with a new group.  She travelled at a very nice middle of the pack pace and placed her feet very well in all gaits in rocky terrain.  She crossed swift water, drank from streams, ponds and cow tanks.

In camp, she ate and drank well.  She was tied on a high tie and layed down to sleep.  She did well at her vet checks even when separated from her buddy. Diva is polite and easy to handle on the ground.  I was very proud of how well she did for her first ride.  Oh yeah, she also got to see cows and eyed them like she knew what she was doing!

Diva was going to be my back up endurance horse, but I really think she is too nice for that.  She really loves attention and is dismayed when she isn't taken from the pasture for a ride.

I have also done a little bit of arena work with Diva, including several dressage lessons.  She is very sensitive and tries very hard to please.  She learned to work off seat and legs quickly and started doing very nice lateral work.  Diva will be wonderful for someone who enjoys work both in and out of the arena.
