Bell is a gorgeous gray Arab/QH/Morgan mare. She has a beautiful head, really nice eye and is well built. She is 14.3-15H tall and able to carry a heavyweight. She has done a lot of trail work including Competitive Trail competitions and she is currently being conditioned for endurance. She did one 13 mile Fun Ride at an Endurance event, so was tied to a trailer at night (perfectly), ate and drank well, was seen by the vets (needs to work on her ground manners!) and did well on technical terrain including steep hills, rocks and water crossings.
Bell has a good head, can handle technical terrain and is a fairly smooth ride. She may not be for a beginner on the trail, but she is not at all difficult to handle. She has a low resting heart rate and good recoveries. She's got good feet and hasn't complained about rocks.
We have been riding her in a hackamore (bosal). She also looks as if she would enjoy jumping - she eyes jumps as a fun obstacle in the arena. She's gone over poles and some small jumps with no refusing.
Bell is built well enough to do about anything you'd like, with a fun personality to boot. Her price is $1800 obo.
She is currently boarded at Los Pinos Equestrian Center and we are helping her owner find a new owner because she has some family obligations that will take her out of state for a lot of the summer. Please contact Marlene at Marlene@LosPinos-CO.com or 719-351-5037 to schedule a test ride.
